Terms of use

Last updated: 26 October 2026

1. Agreement

These terms apply when you use ChartForge™ (the “service”), operated by Xavier Breccola (“we”, “us”). By using the service you agree to them. If you don’t agree, please don’t use it.

2. What the service is

ChartForge™ is a browser-based tool for making animated trading chart videos. It is an early prototype. Features may change, break or be removed without notice, and we may add accounts or paid plans later. If we do, we will update these terms first.

3. Your content

You own the charts, scripts, videos and other material you create. We don’t claim any rights in them. Your projects are currently stored in your browser, so we don’t receive or license them. You are responsible for what you create and publish.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the service to:

5. Not financial advice

ChartForge™ makes illustrations. Example charts, concept labels and templates are for education and presentation only. They are not trading signals, investment advice or recommendations. If you publish content that discusses trading, you are responsible for any disclosures and rules that apply to you, such as advertising, financial promotion and risk-warning requirements in your country and on each platform.

6. Data loss and backups

Autosave stores your project in your browser’s local storage. Clearing browser data, switching browsers or devices, or private browsing can erase it. Keep your own copies of anything important.

7. Our property

The service’s software, design and name belong to us or our licensors. These terms don’t transfer any of that to you.

8. No warranty

The service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, including fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy or uninterrupted availability, to the extent the law allows.

9. Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost profits, lost data, or trading losses connected to your use of the service. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can’t be limited by law.

10. Ending use

You can stop using the service at any time. We may suspend or end access if you break these terms or if we need to protect the service.

11. Changes

We may update these terms. The date above shows the latest version. Continuing to use the service after a change means you accept it.

12. Governing law and contact

These terms are governed by the laws of [country or state]. Questions: [contact email].
