Privacy policy

Last updated: 26 October 2026

1. Who we are

ChartForge™ is operated by Xavier Breccola. Contact: [contact email].

2. The short version

The editor runs in your browser. Your projects, scripts and settings are stored on your own device and are not uploaded to our servers. There are no accounts yet.

3. What is stored on your device

This uses your browser’s local storage. You can delete it any time by clearing site data for this website in your browser settings.

4. What we collect

We don’t collect personal information through the editor. Like most websites, our hosting provider ([hosting provider]) may keep standard server logs, such as IP address, browser type and the pages requested, for security and reliability. We don’t currently use analytics or advertising cookies. If that changes, we will update this page first.

5. Voice preview

The voice preview uses your browser’s built-in speech feature. Depending on your browser and operating system, the voice may be generated on your device or by a service the browser provider operates. We don’t receive your script.

6. Planned features

Later versions may add accounts, cloud sync of brand kits, downloadable AI voice models, and audio uploads. When we add any of these, we will explain what data is involved and update this policy before it goes live.

7. Sharing

We don’t sell your data. We only share information with service providers that help us run the website, such as hosting, or when the law requires it.

8. Your rights

Depending on where you live, such as in the EU, UK or California, you may have rights to access, correct, delete or port personal data we hold about you, and to object to or restrict its use. Because we hold no personal data about editor use today, most of this is already in your hands through your browser settings. For anything else, contact [contact email].

9. Children

The service is not directed at children under 13, or under 16 where local law sets that age. We don’t knowingly collect their personal data.

10. Changes

We may update this policy. The date above shows the latest version.
